Games are listed in order of date. If you want to add a game, press on the + button above the game list. If you want to view or edit an existing game, touch on the entry in the list. If you want to remove a game, touch on the Edit button and then touch the delete icon for the game you want to remove. Games that have already been played are marked in gray in the list and they have the final score posted.

For each game, you can access the following:

  1. General Game Info - Includes date, location, team you are playing against.

  2. Game Events - A list of all the events (goals, penalties, etc.) that have been recorded for the game.

  3. Game Recorder - A real-time tool to record events during the game.

  4. Videos - A list of videos associated with the game.

  5. Game Stats - A stats page that shows team and player performance for the game.

On the General Game Information page:

  1. You can touch on the Game Date field to select the date and time of the scheduled start of the game.

  2. You can touch on the Opposition field to select the opponent for this game. Make sure you have added the opponent first in the Team/Opponents page so that it appears in the list here.

  3. Correctly identifying whether this is a home or away game will impact the statistics that are generated. If you don't care if you track home versus away stats, then you don't need to worry about this.

  4. Game Notes provides a spot where you can jot down things you want to remember about this game specifically. For example, you might want to make a note about some aspect of the officiating that could be helpful in future games.

  5. You can touch on the Location field to add or select a location for the game. A number of arenas have been pre-loaded into StartingLineup, but depending on your geographical location, you may need to add your own locations. Locations that have been pre-loaded into StartingLineup cannot be deleted, but locations that you create can be deleted on the 'Select Location' page. Once a location is selected, the map display will change to reflect the choice. You can pan and zoom on the map by using normal gestures.

  6. In the upper toolbar, there is a button titled Import Game Dates. If you touch on this button, you can specify the online location of a file to be used to import game dates. This is a quick way to import game dates if you already have them stored in a spreadsheet.

  7. If you touch on the email button in the lower toolbar when you are viewing general info for a game, a window will pop up that lets you compose an email to all the players and team staff. The email body contains the details of the game.

  8. If you touch on the email button in the lower toolbar when you haven't yet picked a game from the list, an message will be created that contains the schedule of all future games.
